Antibiotic to select against untransformed E. coli cells. Required for TOPO zero blunt.
Stock solution 50mg/ml
- Weigh 0.5 g of Kanamycin Monosulfate.
- Add 10 ml of sterile H2O. Disolve completely.
- Sterilize by drawing the Kanamycin Stock through a syringe filter .
- Stock may be kept at -20°C for 1 year.
Usage: dilute 1:1000 to final concentration of 50µl/ml (25µl for 9cm plate)
