Stock solution of Cycloheximide aka Actidione (100 mg /ml )
This is used in the Benito medium to select for S. pombe
Warning : Very toxic. Avoid skin contact or aerosal formation and inhalation. Work in the fumehood when making stock solution

  • Weigh 100mg in the fumehood and add to a 2ml tube
  • Add 1ml DMSO 100%
  • Mix until all is dissolved


store at -20C in freezer 7.
