QBT buffer

Buffer QBT (equilibration buffer) used for the QIAGEN Genomic-Tip DNA extraction protocol.

The buffer is used to prepare the Genomic Tip column before loading the DNA.

Buffer QBT

750 mM NaCl 50 mM MOPS, pH 7.0 15% isopropanol 0.15% Triton X-100

Buffer QBT can be stored at RT.

To make QBT:

• Dissolve in 200 ml distilled water
• 10.96 g NaCl
• 2.62 g MOPS
• Adjust the pH to 7.0 with NaOH
• Add 37.5 ml pure isopropanol
• Add 3.75 ml 10% Triton X-100 solution
• Adjust the volume to 250 ml with distilled water
